Ongoing:

* We now have gift cards available. Instead of picking out a pet for someone, give them a gift card for the adoption fee ($70.00) and they can pick out and pickup their newest family member. Or, if you know someone with a pet already, give them a gift card for a microchip (Call or email for pricing).

* We are beginning to help people that have feral/wild cats that are not fixed. If you have some around your home and would like to keep them but can't afford spaying and neutering, CALL US! You trap them and we'll get them fixed. We do ask for a donation but it is not required. If you are unable to catch them in a humane trap, please let us know and we will do our best to help catch them. Humane traps can be borrowed from your local animal control or bought at Tractor Supply.

*May - TBA...Microchipping Event: Microchipping for dogs and cats. Registration is $30 for first pet. All additional pets $15 each. Call 919-394-5708 to preregister. Dogs MUST be on leashes; Cats MUST be in carriers.

*April 28 - 9am-5pm...Pickle Festival, Mount Olive, NC...FREE dog/cat treats with a donation, Microchipping, Come Meet CRAZY, and MORE! Loads of fun for everyone. Come PURRR with US!!!

2011

* October - December, 2011 Sam's Club and Purina have teamed up! Buy any Purina product for your animals from Sam's Club, mail the receipt to us, and at the end of December we mail all the receipts to Purina. In return they will send us a check for 25% of all the receipts up to $1000. Mailed receipts must be postmarked by December 28, 2011. Help us out!

* November 22, 2011 Lights Up Downtown! 5pm - 8pm Center Street. Come celebrate the turning on of Downtown Christmas Lights, listen to live music, Horse trolley rides, Santa, and different vendors. We'll be there to with homemade cat/dog treats, meet Crazy, and taking donations!

* November 6, 2010 Belk Charity Day Sale, 6am-10am. Buy your ticket for $5, receive $5 off first purchase, then 20-70% store-wide!

* February 27 - March 31, 2010 - Come eat at Captain Kitty's Seafood Shack, 3831 US HWY 70 W., Goldsboro & get 10% off your meal by donating $1 to PFFSAA! Hours are Sun. 11-5, Mon/Tues. 11-2, Wed. 11-2 & 5-8, Thurs/Fri/Sat. 11-8.

 

* September 2010  ( Labor Day Weekend) - Get Me Outta Here. Tractor Supply, 2901 Cashwell Drive, Goldsboro. PFFSAA partnering with Wayne County Pit Bull Rescue for a 24-7 lock-in until $2,000 is raised.

 

* January 5 - 31, 2010 - Come to Captain Kitty's Seafood Shack (formerly known as Shore Boys), located at 3831 US HWY 70 W, Goldsboro, to donate $1 for a kitty and enjoy some wonderful seafood!

 

2009

NOTE DATE CHANGE to Oct. 17th, 2009 -  3101 Cashwell Dr., Goldsboro (the old Cinema next to Allstars Family Fun Center) Truck Mania! Truck show for all open bed trucks. Categories for being judged, plus surprise categories. Fun for all. Interested in registering?  Click here !  Participants check in between 9 and 11am, judging from 11:30-3pm, awards/prizes/trophies 4-6pm.  Pre-registrations being taken until Oct. 10th.

* April 18, 2009: 11am-4pm: Car Wash. McDonalds/Hess at the corner of US 70 W and Claridge Nursery Rd., Goldsboro. Come get your car washed. $10 donation requested.

* April 11, 2009: 10am-4pm: Dog/cat Easter basket sale, microchipping, bake sale. Critter Connection, Royall Ave., Goldsboro. Come purchase a special Easter basket filled with goodies for your dog or cat, purchase a treat for yourself, and get your animal chipped!

* Saturday, July 26th, 2008: Microchipping Event at Pawsitively Pets, 2449 S. US 117 Hwy, Goldsboro. We will be doing microchipping for dogs and cats from 4 to 7pm. If your pet is lost or stolen, having a microchip makes it easier and faster for animal controls and veterinarians to get your pet home to you. Pre-registration is $15 for the first pet, $10 for each additional. To get a pre-registration form, call 919-394-7706 or pick one up at Pawsitively Pets before the 26th. On site registration is $25 for the first animal and $10 for each additional. The costs cover online registration, chip, and a collar tag.

* Tuesday, July 15, 2008 is Purrrfect Friends Feline Shelter Day at Cici's Pizza in Goldsboro! Eat at Cici's anytime between 11am and 10pm, write your name and ours on your receipt and put it in the clear box by the register. At the end of the day, Cici's gives us 10% of the total sales over their regular sales. We need all the help we can get with food, litter, supplies, and medical care. Please help us and eat out this week!
