Our goal is to provide those who have been neglected, abandoned, injured, sick, or feral, a safe place to stay, receive medical care, and lots of love while waiting for a new permanent home with unconditional love. Purrrfect Friends want you to take a purrrfect kitty home. Each cat and kitten will go to its new home with current shots, be neutered or spayed, FeL testing, have a microchip, a one month topical flea application, one month of free health insurance, and a starter kit if needed. We are also working on having some accessories available for purchase. Applications for adoptions are available online. Please read the requirements carefully for adopting one of our Purrrfect Friends. We want to make the best matches for you and our furry friends.

Purrrfect Friends exists only with the help of volunteers, donations, fundraising, and grants. At this time, checks, money orders, and cash are the only monetary forms that can be accepted.  Gift cards, supplies, and volunteer time are always accepted with heart-felt thank-you's.  We would like to welcome Susan Kornegay, our volunteer Fundraiser Coordinator and Nicole Barker, our new volunteer Foster Care Coordinator!  Susan has prior experience working in a vet's office and also has her own zoo of animals! She will be taking over much of the work involved in setting up our fundraising events and helping coordinate the volunteers to make sure they run smoothly.  Nicole has had a variety of her own pets and also has previous experiences with rescues and animal shelters.

We have a variety of cats and kittens just waiting to go to their own purrrmanent home.
