Shelter Site Needs:

    Financial:  Electric needs to be turned on - $150 deposit

                    Water needs to be turned on - $125 deposit

                     Rent - $150 per month  (feel free to donate a month's rent any time)

    Building Needs: Self leveling floor leveler, 2 gallons (available from Lowe's in Goldsboro)

                            Non-porous flooring materials i.e. linoleum, tile, etc

                            Non-porous wall materials

                            Plywood to replace missing flooring (unsure of thickness yet)

                            Materials to close in one garage door as solid wall, remove other garage door and replace with regular door.

                            Plexiglass sheets 4x8', PVC 1-1/2" (lots of small pieces work well with connectors), pet fencing (can be found in garden shop at Lowes)

                            Non-porous material to build compartments in closets for night time

    Professional Help:  Someone with landscaping or grounds maintanance knowledge to help clean up outside, trim bushes, trees, etc. Wk of 9/2 we   have someone coming to bushhog, but continued care would be great!

                            Plumber to evaluate plumbing needs and maybe redo bathroom? Someone disconnected toilet because of hole in floor, put down plywood, set toilet back on it.

                            A/C? We are trying to get a used unit donated, but will need someone to hook up and check out ductwork, etc.

    Non-professional:  Workers!  Under 18, need parental permission. If you can use a hammer, screwdriver, measuring tape, etc. please contact us!

    Supplies (Bagged food, litter (preferably hard clumping formula), PAPER TOWELS

    Volunteers/foster homes Until the site is ready, we still desperately need foster homes! Even if you are temporary stationed military, if you can provide a home for the time you are here, it helps.  We do continuous fundraising of different types. We need volunteers to help with fundraising events in all areas! We also need volunteers to help make and bake items for our events.
